How It Works
My makeup lessons are designed to provide you with a personalized experience in a comfort of your home. I will come over to you with my own makeup kit.
We will begin by discussing your desired makeup looks and any challenges you may have faced while applying makeup in the past.
As the first step, I will evaluate your existing makeup kit and brushes and assist you in identifying the products that are best suited for your skin type, as well as any additional items you may need to complete your collection.
During the lessons, my focus will be on helping you select the most flattering makeup colors, I will cover the fundamental basics of makeup application, taking into account your unique facial features and proportions, and demonstrating how to enhance your natural beauty. I will guide you through the process step-by-step, advising you on which brushes to use and allowing you to repeat the steps under my expert guidance.
In addition to teaching you how to create the perfect makeup look, I will also provide tips on how to correct any makeup mistakes, such as smudged eyeliner or patchy eyeshadow blending. You will learn various makeup techniques that will help you achieve long-lasting and beauty-enhancing looks, customized to your individual preferences and requirements.
Beginners Makeup Lessons
My makeup lessons for absolute beginners are designed to provide a strong foundation of knowledge and skills that can be gradually built upon as you continue to learn and experiment with makeup. We'll start with the basics and work our way up from there.
I will cover the following topics:
Skin Preparation: I'll teach you how to properly prep your skin before applying makeup.
Foundation Matching: I'll show you how to match your foundation to your skin tone and type, and how to swatch and blend it for a natural-looking finish.
Eye Makeup: I'll teach you how to apply eye makeup, including eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. We'll start with basic techniques like applying a base color, blending, and adding depth to the crease.
Bronzer, Blush, and Highlighter: I'll guide you on how to properly apply bronzer, blush, and highlighter to enhance your features.
Lipstick Application: I'll teach you how to apply lipstick and choose colors that complement your skin tone.
Makeup Tools: I'll introduce you to various makeup brushes, sponges, and other tools commonly used in makeup application. I'll explain how to use each tool and its purpose.
Cleaning and Storing Makeup: I'll show you how to properly clean and store your makeup products and tools to maintain their longevity.
Day To Evening Makeup
I enjoy teaching people how to take their everyday makeup look and transform it into a more dramatic evening look. It's important to understand the difference between makeup that looks good during the day versus at night. During the day, natural light can be quite bright and unforgiving, so makeup that is more subtle and natural-looking tends to work best. However, in the evening, the lighting is typically dimmer, which means bolder and more dramatic makeup can really pop and create a stunning effect.
In my lessons, I show you how to enhance your daytime makeup to create a more dramatic evening look. We go over techniques like using darker eyeshadows, adding eyeliner, and intensifying lip color to achieve a more dramatic look. By the end of my lessons, you will feel confident in your ability to transform your makeup from day to night and create a look that is sure to turn heads
Anti-aging Makeup
Anti-aging makeup lessons are my absolute favorite to teach!
Over the years, I've worked with many mature clients and noticed that some women over 40 tend to make themselves look older with their makeup. The problem is that they often use the same makeup they've been using for the past 20 years, but it doesn't work as well for them now. In fact, it can actually accentuate lines and make their skin look dry and lifeless.
The good news is that with a few clever makeup tricks, you can achieve a more youthful and radiant look. As we age, our skin changes, and we need to adjust our makeup routine accordingly. That's why it's important to learn new techniques and try out new products that work better for our current skin type and condition.
